It's very nearly 30 years since I 'went under' Steve.
Might be fun just to try (fitting in regular rides during Winter months).
As long as it doesn't involve skin suits, space helmets and 'funny bikes', I'll have a go!

See Time Trial section and Bang for Bucks entry, time saving over 25 miles
Aero position 122 secs
Skin suit        134 sec
Aero helmet   67 secs

Clip-on bars on your road bike will be enough to help with 'aero' position!
I have a spare pair for anybody who wants to try them out.
Tri-suit will do similar job to skin suit but must have sleeves or base layer under.

The 70's eh, did they have pump up tyres then Bowen. John used to turn up at our mid week "7" at Ewenny and whip around in about 16 minutes, circuit is still there but with 7 cattle grids and a set of lights. Anyone bored have a go. I have seen John going flat out by the "Avon" lately, nice to see him out after his illness.

Hi All,

Steven has asked me to notify you 59ers as he has no internet access.

He completed a 50m TT today in Cambridge......2:01:12...a PB by 3 mins.

1.02ish last night,with silly hat. My legs hurt.

Noting what Steve and Andy say then 2 mins quicker with aero position and another 2 mins with skinsuit.
Could I then join your club!?
However that was 4 up.

ps did I say my legs hurt
and my back and arms are in pieces.
