General Discussion / Run Clips, pin less bib/number attachments
« on: April 28, 2016, 11:12:03 PM »
More than a few of us have been talking about the clips used instead of pins to attach rider numbers. Have found them on ebay, if You wanted to try them?
They are called Run Clips:-

NO NEED TO PRE PUNCH HOLES.
NO MAGNETS
Runclips are used to secure race bibs/numbers in place.
Safety pins are often used to secure race numbers/bibs but leave holes in your t shirt.whether you are running a marathon/ half marathon, taking part in a timed fun run or cycling event pinning your race number to your top with safety pins will cause damage. If you are doing obstacle races the pins will tear your shirt even more. Paying all that money for technical t shirts and then rendering them unusable didn't seem right.
Runclips are designed to clip your number on using a click clip system when placed in each corner of your race bib.You do not need to punch holes in the number first and no fiddling around.

Hope this helps

What a Team! Flawless performance once again by the OVW volunteers giving their time to make this event so much successful. Thank you Teresa, your organisation of the event was brilliant and we had some great feedback from the riders.
