It's my daughter's 16th birthday this Sunday, so I'll be doing the 'Dad thing' and acting as taxi driver and banker for Grace's party. Therefore, I won't be out for this week's Club Run. Hopefully one of the regular Amblers will post a route. Have a good ride and see you next week.

I need some climbing practice to keep up with Harpo Terry!!
Plus I'm going out to Spain on Thursday and need some more climbing in my legs ready for the Andalucian mountains.
Route should be about 100k and 4 hours.

We followed the route as planned - 63 miles for me, up the Ogmore Valley and over the Bwlch, down to Treorchy, over the Rhigos fromTreherbert, down to Gynneath and down the old Neath Road to Neath, Briton Ferry, Baglan, Aberavon with a coffee stop at Café Remos, onto Pyle and home over Stormy Down. Strong turn on the front most of the way from Andy Storrie, ably assisted by Terry at times and later on. Andy Samuels paced himself home from Margam and Mal peeled off just short of Pyle.
Look forward to seeing Mark back next Sunday..

Well done Richard, it sounds like it was a really good ride. Great to see that Mal returned to the fold and all 11 of you finished together. You've obviously got a talent for herding cats . Although I enjoyed my daughter's party, I did look at my watch at around 10 o'clock this morning and think enviously of you climbing the Rhigos (honest)! I look forward to being back in the saddle next week.

Enjoyed ride today thanks Neil for helping me in that headwind down Neath valley but after my custard slice my legs were gone and headed  from pyle to aber kenfig then home via cycle track
