Club Photograph / Italian Night. Friday 8th May

The Giro D'Italia starts on Saturday 9th May and this year (according to your chairman) there is no British rider.

Thisa will not stop us haffing a leetle vino and a pizza whilst watching a Dee Vee Dee
of Coppi or something. Just for fun.

There will be a prize for best dressed Italian, not necessarily in cycling kit. Plus another prize for best Italian bike.

Coupled with this I have got our prize winning member, Allan Marks to take an official club photo of members in their new club colours. If you have not collected your kit order then this is a great opportunity to do so.

So,  turn up in club kit. Photos at  8.30pm. If you are staying for food/drink, bring your own and share it. Others will do the same. Anyone with a interesting short dvd of the Giro, or indeed any event with Italians in it (there have been quite a few good ones !) we can put that on the telly. I have one in black and white I think.  Or, if Jonathan or anyone else has a projector/screen that will show a dvd would you bring it along please.

There's nothing like a bit of a social when we can discuss the previous nights 10 mile TT times and yarn about the Carl Roach, Pembrokeshire etc.

Recruited a few more at the TT tonight. It's looking good for the Italian.

I hope for a good turnout for the photo. It is possibly the only 'official' one this year.

Don't forget however that there is a photo competition with a trophy at the Annual Dinner, so, apart from Friday, get snapping this year. There could be a number of categories if we get a good few entries. I shall be having a go, hopefully something with a club racing theme.
