Did this today. Great course with 4 challenging climbs and quiet roads through the Brecon beacons - couple of times through Cray reservoir and also defynog. I was in the top 3 over the 3 climbs that didn't matter and was away solo over defynog. I sat up on the finishing climb where it seemed like far too much like hard work just to stay in the top 10. A couple of riders had already sneaked away off the front so was not so much at stake to suffer for. And it was hot. Too hot. Only my 2nd race of the season. Physically felt good but lacked a bit of willpower when I needed it. And I wasn't on my x bike, cyclopaedia fitted me a make do hanger for the mech so I could race, until the right one arrives from focus. I got summer bike back yesterday!
