We were storming - a whole new experience; the main thing is that you're alright, expecting aches and pains tomorrow, bit of tlc needed Norman.

Watching Chris Froome too much, got to keep away from the kerb/edge of the road, all sorts of traps waiting for the tired rider, but at least you are OK and Club 2 UP champions as well. In it to win it!

Aches and pains were chronic, just after midnight. Couldn't take a breath without sharp pain in the ribs. Not being as brave as norman, rang for ambulance. By the time they came, which was very quick, my toes had turned black, which frightened the crap out of me and ended up having a massive panic attack. They gave me morphine in the ambulance, which made me feel very sick. So had to have something to combat that. Was at the hospital for approx. eight hours, been given loads of painkillers and anti nausea tabs. so well dosed up. Xray showed no puncture of the lung, which was their concern. But couldn,t confirm if there is a fracture to the ribs. So lots of swelling and bruises and the world carries on.

Hope Norman is looking after you, don't forget to milk it as long as possible, that's what a man would do. Get well soon.

That's one tough cookie that jumps back on and rides after that. Well done and heal fast!

Thanks guys, was not expecting such support, I am quite touched. I think the adrenalin has now packed up Andy. Pain killers galore. Hopefully see you all on Thursday. Where I will be helping out and not riding.
