Good turnout for the 8am start today. Seven us from Brackla, me, Paul, Mark, Chris, Rich L, Jonathan and Tim. And we picked up Mark Ellis riding through Bridgend made 8.
Another good ride in great conditions with everyone taking turns on the front, especially Chris and Mark. Rode as a good group just breaking up on the climbs but regrouping at top and bottom. Just a reminder for everyone to look at the route before riding. Not that Mark Ellis could be blamed for trying to take us through Cornelly instead of Pyle. And Paul tried to take us to Briton Ferry in order to climb the Bwlch from Taibach, we eventually detoured through Cwmafan to Pontrhydyfen to get back on course. And everyone enjoyed the refuel stop in MacDonalds in the sun although Rich L did complain about the distance to the coffee stop which came just short of 50 miles. 78 miles for me overall today and 5,203ft of climbing.
