Four out today for Social Sunday, Carl, Scott, Tim and me. Blue skies leaving Brackla with the threat of rain at somepoint in the morning.
Scott seemed intent on outrunning the rain and set furious pace up Heol Las, fortunately I descended quicker than him and was able to get on the front, to moderate the pace over the common to Sarn. Followed the route at a decent pace to coffee in Porthcawl.
Brief holdup for a front wheel puncture for Scott near Margam, proved to be the only way to slow him down.
We did briefly chat about the benefits of zone 2 training over coffee but this was quickly dismissed in a brief but heavy shower from Cornelly to Kenfig but enjoying a strong tailwind we beat the rain to Bridgend.
Everybody riding well Scott, Tim, Carl and myself all sharing the work at various times, with Scott strongest on the day.
