Sunday Social 6th November
« on: November 02, 2022, 09:14:16 PM »
I'll be leading the Social ride again, this weekend.

Weather not looking too promising but plenty of time for the forecast to change before Sunday.  ::)

I will post a route before the weekend, usual rules apply. Around 40 miles, with a coffee stop and riding at a pace for the group to stay together.

See you Sunday

Another wet one, bit miserable at times but better than being comatose on the sofa..................I think.
Four riders out today, Tammy, Scott, Paul L and myself. Started off dry but by the time we had climbed up to Tair Croes the heavens opened and that was pretty much the story for most of the ride. The weather did relent for a while as we headed to coffee in Cafe Velo but by time we had started to dry out another shower caught us, requiring much wringing out of clothing at the cafe and new socks for Tammy.
Rode the coast rode back to Ogmore, jealously regarding the blue skies over 'Devon Somerset way' before spliting up at St Bride's with Paul heading for home.
Scott pulled us along most of the day, ably assisted by Tammy.
I'll be out next Sunday, hopefully in better weather.
