how about the aberdare loop anti-clockwise and coffee stop at Remos Aberavon

don't forget your mudguards and fit them properly as it's not just about keeping your arse dry it's about saving the person behind you getting a soaking.   ;D

4 out this morning. we did wonder had people got their clocks set the wrong way or just wanted extra time in bed due to the weather forecast today

out were
Me
Angelo
Rob C
Stephen M

set off with the skies clearing, wishful thinking as this changed just after ponty and started raining, where we timed Madely while he put his shake dry on, this could be club night entertainment while on rollers  ;D
all the way to neath we were hit with showers.

Madely turned off at Hirwaun and went over the Rhigos and Bwlch where he was under strict orders to get home before 1pm. We did wonder if going with us would have got him home for 1pm.

we carried on and was hit with crosswinds and headwinds where Angelo learnt very quickly how hard it is riding into the wind.
Coffee Stop in Remos where it was obvious we were in no rush to leave.
went back across harbour into a strong headwind and back home

For Nigel and others, 9.30am winter starts first Sunday in December all the way through to 1st Feb. Weather dependent it is the captain's decision to change ride times. i.e if weather permitting we would start earlier for the Bethlehem ride.

So I got my times mixed up and got to Brackla at 09:15 ready for what I thought was a 09:30 start.........bit of brain fog!!!!

I did a solo ride going of to Bridgend,  llaleston back to Bridgend magic roundabout and off to go around Ogmore. Down the coast round along the club 10TT course and turning off onto the bye pass to going around St Athan and back on to the coast road up to Cardiff airport with a loop around Rhoose and back into Llantwitt. Coming up to Cafe Velo I was a bit wet and the winds strong so decided to stop for a latte and lemon drizzle. Back through the lanes and a tough trip around Ogmore until I got to the estuary turn then tail wind at last.Up through Corntown down A48 to Fords and tail wind back to Pencoed. Tough solo ride but my fault for being late doh!!! ::) ::)
