we are open after COVID lockdowns

Just to remind you all that Friday night club house is now fully open again from 20:00 on a Friday. We can now meet up for cake,biscuits,coffee and a chat again, all are welcome.

In a few weeks time we plan to hold an open meeting to discuss the future of the club no real agenda just what do people want going forward. Again all are welcome.


some thoughts......
Do we want to hold club weekly 10 mile TT event?
Do we still want to run an event such as the Wasp road race?
Chain gang, club rides, trips over seas, roller nights,bike fit,maintenance session etc etc.
Have a bit of a think perhaps comment here and we then can arrange a night at the club for a good chat.

Another reminder that we are doing club runs every Sunday, we have been a little light on numbers so it would be great to see you all back. I have had a few inquiries on joining the club with 2 new members joining last week with one out with the chasers on Sunday. Welcome both.

this Friday (3rd Sep) we will have the meeting at the club house at 20:00. The aim is to have an open discussion on what we want as a club going forward. If you have some comments you would like to bring up but are unable to attend send me an email or message and I will read out for you at the meeting. If we dont get any comments or suggestions then nothing will change, so come along and let your voice be heard.

Hi all,

many thanks to all that came to the meeting last night and to those that past on messages to read out. One subject discussed was moving the club night to a Monday hoping that more would be able to attend, on checking the hall is available to swap nights .

This would need a vote for the changes to happen if that is the wish. The plan is to hold a committee meeting on return from our Mallorca trip (fingers still crossed we can go). Other things suggest I will email out to all hopefully after the club ride tomorrow. Plan is to hold events on club nights such as bike fits,rollers,mechanic lessons on bike repairs and general riding skills etc.

In the short term could I ask for a yes or no straw poll on changing to a Monday night......
