Richard B is away this weekend so has entrusted map guidance to me for this weekend. A 56 mile trip out via Church Village, up Nantgarw Hill into Caerphilly, Nelson and then back through Pontypridd followed by coffee in Tongwynlais before heading for home via Pentyrch and Llanharry.

5 Chasers out this morning and taking a leaf out of the Tour road book which this week tackled Mont Ventoux twice in the same day, today's Chasers ride took on the mighty Treforest Industrial Estate twice within an hour, both in the same direction. We shared the first 10 miles of the Pacers ride to Leeks in Pontyclun before splitting off in 2 different directions but both heading to Caerphilly. After the first pass through the industrial estate we headed up Nantgarw Hill and then headed for Nelson and then back down the valley for our second sprint through the industrial estate. Coffee in Tongwynlais and then back up through the closed off climb to Pentyrch where we were able to ride 5 abreast. After the drop from Llanharry into Llanharan a swift smash fest home.
Out today were Karl, Denise, Chris, Lee and myself.
