Chasers Bank Holiday Weekend
« on: May 25, 2021, 08:41:54 PM »
We are planning to get out twice this weekend. A regular length one on Saturday with the usual 9am start time. And a longer one on Bank Holiday Monday weather permitting and possibly with an 8am start time. Further update later in the week.

I’ll definitely join the Saturday ride. Might not be able to make the Monday ride due to family commitments.

Enjoyable ride today in great conditions, warm and sunny with little wind. 5 of us out today, me, Rich L, Lee, Denise, and Chris G. Followed route as planned in the main but but cut across from Dinas Powys to Barry as opposed to going through Penarth. And from Barry went across to Porthkerry Park for the coffee stop and onto the Rhoose Road and home. Good coffee stop with great selection of cakes, the custard slices to be recommended. Longer ride now on Monday with an 8a start.

Three of us out today, me Rich L and Karl. Enjoyable but tough ride out to Llandeilo and over the Black Mountain from the Llangadog side. Warm conditions today and very windy with a headwind all the way home. Good coffee stops in Llandeilo and Skewen. Just under 100 miles and 1,600m of climbing. Something easier next weekend I think.
