Chasers 9 August
« on: August 06, 2020, 09:03:31 PM »
Weather looking good on Sunday morning, I’m thinking Bwlch Rhigos Neath Valley with coffee stop somewhere in Neath, around 65 miles.

Perfect, I’ll be there. See you at 9am
If anyone can bring a membership form it would be appreciated.  Still can’t find the removals box with the printer in it!

Thanks

Managed best part of 3 hour ride today, not quite at Chasers pace but getting there slowly. Hope to make it out in the next week or two

After a couple of weeks on the flat we went with a few hills today. The forecast had been for sunshine but although it was very warm all morning we didn’t get the clear skies we’d expected. 6 chasers out today, for the record;
Richard Bowmer
Richard Lewis
Karl Walton
Lee Stoneham
Adrian Lewis
Denise Fitzgerald

Followed to route as planned taking in the climbs of Llangeinor, the Bwlch and the Rhigos. Rode well as a group, especially up the Rhigos where we kept a close group for the whole climb. And then again down the Neath Valley taking turns on the front all the way to Neath. BarTen21 was closed so we had the coffee stop in Costa with the usual good coffee and cakes and some fancy milk drink for Karl. Then the dash for home through Briton Ferry, Afan Way and Harbour Way, with Karl and Denise very strong and leading the way.

See you all next week and hopefully Andy Harries too.

Richard
