Did my effort early, which had the advantage of being a little cooler...but the disadvantage of having my heart rate maxed out for 20+ minutes at 8am!!!

Wind is strange direction, only done a couple with it like this before...felt weird having a tail wind on the return!!

Well done guys. Some tough conditions this week. So hard to push hard early on that course, we're so used to the wind being the other way and saving something for the way back. I probably needed to be a lot braver on the way out and go harder...but I just couldn't make myself do it, just too used to the way back being harder!! Never mind!

Going to do a similar thing on the R10/17 in a couple of weeks with my brother and a few Abergavenny locals (assuming restrictions allow!).
