Alternative Club Jersey
« on: March 19, 2020, 04:48:05 PM »
A proposal has been made for an alternative second club jersey and this has been supported by the club committee. This is not a replacement of the existing club kit but just an alternative. The existing club kit remains the official kit of the club and is the only kit recognised by British Cycling and others for the purpose of competition.
The second jersey is from the continental range so will be at a lower price point that the current ascent, so an alternative jersey at a lower price, which hopefully members will find appealing. The design is loosely based on a Trek Segafredo jersey but taking forward design themes from our current jersey. See mock attached. The yellow of the jersey is a caffeinated yellow which is a brighter version of the yellow in our current jersey. The mock does not do it full justice unfortunately.
In order to add this to the club on-line store we will need commitment for the minimum volumes of 5. Can you please advise if you would intend purchasing the jersey, either by replying on this topic or by DM.

Thanks
Richard

Is there a size guide for this jersey?

See link
https://www.pactimo-custom.com/pages/custom-cycling-clothing-size-chart

The Continental range is a traditional fit, so for the long sleeve jersey that we already have I went down a size from my Ascent short sleeve jersey.

The alternative kit has now been fully endorsed by the Club Committee and I have asked Pactimo to add the jersey to our Team Store. The Team Store will then be opened next week from 5 to 12 April which will give delivery in mid-May. More details to follow once the Store is open.

OVW TEAM STORE
The OVW Pactimo Store is open now and will stay open until Sunday 12 April. This is primarily for the purchase of the new alternative jersey but purchases of any of the kit in the Store can be made at this time. Once the Store is closed the order will be processed for delivery within 4/5 weeks. Estimated date of delivery is currently end of May.  Please use the following link to access the store;

https://teamstore.pactimo.com/stores/

You will be prompted to enter a password, the password is "ogmore". You will then be able to see the items in the store to select, being the custom items

NEW Continental Short Sleeve Jersey at just £38
Alpine Coat
Ascent Short Sleeve Jersey
Continental Long Sleeve Jersey
Ascent Vector Bib Shorts
Ascent Skinsuit
Breckenridge Vest [Gilet]
Arm warmers
Mitts
Cap

Plus a number of non-custom Pactimo products, base layers and light weight rain coats.

All prices are now inclusive of VAT but exclude the handling and delivery fee of 2%. For new customers, once you have selected your items and gone to the basket to pay you will be prompted to create an account.

If you are using a visa debit you should inform your bank first as otherwise the purchase transaction will be blocked by your bank.  Pactimo are a US-based clothing company and banks will initially block visa debit transactions.  When banks are informed prior to placing the order the transactions will be processed without any problem. Visa and Master Card are accepted but not American Express.  ENTERED ORDERS CANNOT BE CANCELLED, if a wrong size is entered we can alter it BEFORE we close the team store but not after the store has been closed. ALL ITEMS ARE NON-RETURN. If you have queries around sizing put something on this thread as others who already have Pactimo kit and specific items of kit may be able to advise.

We will not be purchasing items for stock as we are already holding stock, there are short sleeve jerseys and bib shorts in stock. With regard to sizing for those who have not purchased previously there is a sizing guide in the Team Store. However, from experience the Ascent range is a tight fit and you may need to go up a size. The Continental and Breckenridge ranges are a more generous fit. The sizing on the Alpine coat is consistent with the sizing of the Ascent range but it is a more relaxed fit. And for those of you purchasing the new continental jersey and already have the ascent jersey you probably need to go down a size. If in doubt speak to someone who has previously purchased kit to test out the sizing. This is very important as all items as stated above are non-return. And please note for all Lady members all of the kit is available in womens' fit and sizing.

If you encounter any problems just let me know and I will look to get them resolved with our account manager.

Thanks
Richard

Distribution may be a problem.
Delivery will be towards th end of May, so plenty of time to develop a plan for safe distribution.
