Sorry the strong winds and rain forecast for the morning and the weather warning means we will have to postpone RR1,......again!

I think the best option is to move RR1 to next Sunday, RR2 the following week and revise the date for RR3 some time after Mallorca trip.
Any thought?

Hi All.  Originally I was asked to time the Reliability Ride (RR3) on Sunday 1st March.  Am I still required for the event (RR1) being run on this Sunday at 08.00 hrs.?
Norman.

Hi Norman,
Yes please!
I was going to discuss this with you on Friday.
As the RR1 is the John Edwards Memorial ride I didn't want to keep pushing it back in the calendar, (any more than we had to) so thought it best to keep the rides in chronological order.
The RR1 finish is at the cafe at the top of the Cowbridge bypass, the start as normal in Brackla. Hope this this is OK and thanks again for being available.

See you Friday

Andy

Looks like we will be welcoming storm Jorge this weekend.  Worst of the weather is forecast for Saturday, at the moment with Sunday being wet but at least less windy. So it will be MISERABLE rather than dangerous and at the moment I think we can go ahead with RR1. I will discuss with others at club night, keep an eye on the forecast and post tomorrow with final decision

All,

Coast road at LLantwitt Major closed due to flooding. I spoke with Norman and on safety grounds decided to postpone the  RR1 due to the flooding. Trying to get home from Aberthaw today the coast road is closed by police as flooded  just before the roundabout at the TT route turn around point. The lanes to llandow are bad and breaking up a bit, The river Ewenny has burst its banks in Pencoed and lots of roads closed.

Sensible move as it's not like its a national event!
