Pacer's ride November 3rd
« on: November 02, 2019, 11:33:01 AM »
following on from the AGM committee meeting Captain Harpo has stood after 2 years of providing us with routes and moral support on the Sunday club runs. of course he will be always remembered for his special use of terms of endearment with words such has dipstick etc
we will look forward to having you back on future club runs.

tomorrow's club run is a tandem /chasers friendly joint route

turned out to be a nice morning and DRY. good to see most people with mudguards fitted though it also helps to remember the front one is there when doing a track stand at the lights

14 riders out this morning
Harpo
Keith
Paul R
Chappers
Greg B
Mark Rosser
Ross
Rob and Karl
Nigel
Lee S
Mark W
Richard B
Andy H
Me

good pace out to cimla and onto mumbles. Andy Peeled off at Brition Ferry and headed home
Coffee and cake stop at Castellamare.
ride back home was helped with a tailwind. tandem misjudged the gap coming off a roundabout rode home on their own from margam.
good riding by the chaser's. Rob Lee and Richard should try riding with the pacer's.

Next week I'm away and Nigel will be doing the route. My only suggestion would be to try and do a route that isn't the Aberdare loop clockwise or anti clockwise.. I'm looking forward to see what route Reece(bob) will come up with when it is his turn :P

PS Rich how are you after your spill stopping at the coffee shop??

Good ride today, enjoyed that.
And I’m fine thanks, I don’t think too many people saw me 😂
