Winter chain gang #1 - time to reset the clock
« on: September 22, 2019, 08:45:59 PM »
Tuesday will mark the start of the steadier winter chain gang. These will be at a pace that almost all will be able to handle reasonably comfortably, so it’s an ideal opportunity for those who haven’t been for a while to jump back in. It would be really good to see old and new faces and for the numbers to increase. I intend to try and make nearly all of them as long as it is not a deluge or icy.

It would be good if we can gauge numbers with people indicating their intention to ride in reply. I was also thinking of setting up a WhatsApp group for regulars. So could anybody, who wants to be in that group, message me with their mobile number and I’ll add them.

Having said all that, the weather looks a bit iffy on Tuesday, so I’ll post here on Tuesday morning with an update once I have a better idea of the weather.

The weather is making tonight’s chain gang look very unlikely. So unless any one posts hereto say they are definitely still going, you can assume it is not going ahead. Well it is the winter chain gang! Hopefully better weather next week.

I hope to make an appearance at some point weather permitting.

It would be good to see you. Weather may be a bit iffy tomorrow, but will post in the morning
