Club Web Site
« on: July 28, 2019, 02:44:23 PM »
I understand the club web site was discussed at the committee meeting on Friday and it is planned to change the name to .wales from .com? This will cause a conflict with the web site name which is on the club kit, www.ogmorevalleywheelers.com.
I understand the domain is owned by one of our club members. We need that person to do whatever is necessary for us to retain this domain for the new web site.

The first part of this message has been edited by Admin

With the 1 Aug deadline nearly upon us, an urgent steer from the committee is needed so that Teresa can act accordingly & register/transfer the .com domain name in the name of the club.

I’ll try and alert committee members to the issue via private message.

Many options have been considered in the past and in relation to this.  Communication has already taken place between the appropriate members to try and resolve this issue, and that continues.

A lot of hard work has been put into the new website and a vast amount of work behind the scenes.  Honestly - it doesn't happen by magic, and a lot of research and time has been taken up trying to get the best out come for the club.

Things are moving in a positive direction.

My fingers are crossed while typing  ::)

When you are back from your Sunday jaunt and you have cleaned your bikes and yourselves - take a look at the new site

www.ogmorevalleywheelers.com

Most of the info is copied from the old site, so we are aware that it is not completely up to date and God forbid, there may be some spelling errors  ::)
