Vince Thomas made a brief appearance, but was not feeling it tonight which left Dave Murrey & myself riding a 2-up. A really tough easterly made for hard going down the 1st straight on each lap & couldn’t quite get the equal benefit on the top straight. Hard going in the heat too and came home in a (very) long 49 mins. My thanks to Dave for doing the lions share of the work over the last 3 1/2 laps.
