Chasers Sunday 21st July
« on: July 18, 2019, 08:29:53 AM »
I'll be out Sunday, unfortunately weather doesn't look like it's playing ball!

Will keep an eye on the forecast and post a route, probably Saturday

6 of us headed out for a short sharp hilly club run, this morning.
TS Steve
Lee
Matt
Karl
Roy and myself.
Weather looked a bit threatening with dark clouds surrounding Brackla.
Steve led us out to Blackmill at a solid pace before he, Lee and Matt charged over Glynogwr and Gilfach with Roy, Karl and myself trying hard to keep up.
Steve turned for home at Tonyrefail while the rest of us continued the warm up hills via Penrhiwfer to Penygraig. Matt and Lee carrying on the drive to Penygraig then up the Rhondda to Ferndale..
The climb and descent of Llanwonno delivered, as usual. The cutting down of the trees on the descent opening it out and making for a quick ride.
A quick coffee stop in Pontypridd then Matt towed us most of the way back to Bridgend. Roy peeled off at Llantrisnt and I costed home from Llanharan while the others got a few more miles in
