Spring/Summer Chaingang 3
« on: March 18, 2014, 09:06:08 AM »
In Stevens absence:

For all those braving the Welsh spring, 7pm tonight you know the score.

Nasty headwind looking likely on the back straight....not a night to be dropped

Looks like it's drying out later. I should be there.

A motley crew of stay at homes, ventured out tonight to tackle the Bridgend breeze, all in all about 10 took part including some ladies that chaingang. Tough conditions and took a few laps to regroup and settle down, steady for a while and then it broke up again.
Thankful for a tailwind on the way home

Yep tough night for it.

I crossed the line in a '53' dead, felt every second of it.

Definitely not nice on the back road.
Very happy with my times today, only caught once by the main group.
Could even have fitted in an extra lap.  Maybe next time  ;)
I think my turbo sessions have helped, and despite being almost one-legged and being off the bike for 2 years, I am very close to my old times already  ;D
