Two Oggies tonight (Mark Rosser & myself) but joined by Andrew Martin, Keith Davies & Vince Thomas. Vince declared himself fat & slow and dropped off after a few laps only to reappear every couple of laps to rejoin for a while. Mark Rosser was not feeling 100% and dropped out at about 5 laps, but not before putting in some strong turns. That left the 3 of us to make it to the finish. It was a tough night with an 11mph easterly making for a difficult first straight. However, pace was strong from the start with me hanging on and got left for dead when Andrew closely followed by Keith put the hammer down on the last half lap. A very short 49 for Andrew & Keith, a 49:20-odd for me.
