Chasers Sunday 5th May
« on: May 03, 2019, 03:15:23 PM »
Forecast is looking dry but not very warm for the weekend.

I will post a route suggestion by tomorrow, for those of you that haven't entered the Welsh 25 mile TT championships

Sunday's route, few bumps but nothing major!

Coffee somewhere in Cowbridge, open to suggestions Costa or elsewhere

Cold and dry forecast turned out to be cold, dry and sunny so thumbs up to riding today.

Eight Chasers out today and kept up a decent pace via Brynna, Smilog and on to Beddau via the lanes, the work being shared out among the group. Dropped into Tynant then lanes to Groesfaen, slight detour as the road was closed above Gwern Y Steeple. We detoured to Welsh St Donats, before turning back to the A48, Aubrey Arms and Green Dragon Lane. On to St Athan and coffee at Costa in Cowbridge. Post coffee the group split with Chris G and Karl heading home while the rest completed the planned route.

Out today were:- Chris G, Terry, Tony, Richard B, Lee, Mark,  Karl and myself.
Chris G towed us from Hensol to Cowbridge and Mark towed us home from Cowbridge. Thanks to both!

I'm away the next 3 weekends so Richard has offered to 'captain' the rides when available.
