Winter Chain Gang #21
« on: February 12, 2019, 06:46:33 AM »
Mild, dry & light wind tonight- as good as it gets for a winter CG. I’ll be there for 7pm start. Who else is out?

😂😂😂 Pretty sure Mark Ellis will be there too, and good chance that Terry will be there, so we could have a decent line running. See you later.

Anyone else coming?

Hmm  - a bit worried about this "decent line running" quote ... sounds like another way of saying "a damn good thrashing !!!"

Anyway, planning to be there  🐌🐌🐌🐌

No, no, no. You misunderstood. After recent very slow times and application of winter rules, a modest improvement will suffice 😉. See you later

Four turned up tonight, but Terry had a mechanical, so had to return home before the start. That left Mark E, Steven and myself. It was Steven’s first CG for quite a few weeks (his first of the year?), and took advantage of what he described as an “armchair” ride to ease himself back in. That left Mark & myself to do most of the turns on the front. A 55 min reflected a workmanlike effort on a mild (9c) and relatively windless evening - though we did have a bit of drizzle just to ensure the corners were nice and greasy!
