Chasers Club run Sunday 11th January

Couple of options:-

1) https://www.strava.com/routes/16740186

2) https://www.strava.com/routes/16740276

Second option probably better if weather is inclement!

Grey, overcast and windy this morning. Eleven Chasers out for a lumpy outward leg via Bryn and Cimla to Neath.

Out today were:-
James
Terry
Tony
Matt
Mark
TS Steve
Greg
Richard B
Will
Roy and me.

Steady pace up the Llynfi valley to Maesteg and the climb over Bryn. No idea who was first over the top, I was too far behind  :-[ but Greg and Steve seemed to be at the head of things. Windy decent down to Bryn then up the Afan Valley to Pontrhydyfen. The climb up to Cimla from this side is always a good challenge, turned for a wind assisted homeward leg and Greg towed us most of the way along Harbour Way with the help of Mark.
I 'bailed' at Margam and headed for Brackla. (sorry not feeling the best today).
Rest of the group continued the route home via coffee stop in Porthcawl.

Thanks Andy - good route for today. Greg looking v. strong on his winter-racer ;) Good line along Harbour Way but lacking calls for riders 'off' so major disintegration before discovering you'd headed. Quite a tidy group of eleven beforehand.
