9:30 START FOR CLUB RUNS IN DECEMBER AND JANUARY

Weather forecast suggests we might get wet this Sunday but that's what waterproof jackets and overshoes are for, rather than turbotrainers! ::)

Suggest a route out via Pen Y Cae to Maesteg, Bryn, Margam, Porthcawl, (Coffee stop), then via Ewenny, Tair Cross towards Llantwit and home via Death Valley

See you Sunday

I’ll be out Sunday with my wet weather gear, including mud guards.

Thanks for the route today Andy. Mr Harries was however a no show after overindulging on Saturday night.

We were lucky with the weather today with the rain holding off until the second part of the ride and then only light drizzly rain.

5 of us out today
Me
Mark P
Chris G
Richard L
Will

Followed the route as planned up to Maesteg and across to Bryn and back down the Afan Valley and over to Porthcawl and the coffee stop in the Broomwagon where the chocolate brownie with ice cream is to be recommended.

Then the second part of the ride with Rich and Will peeling off in Bridgend. Over the ridgeway from Ewenny to Llantwit where Chris then headed for home. Me and Mark then took the Wick road and Death Valley and on to Bridgend.

Enjoyable ride today, thanks all.

Maybe a good idea to up the miles next week in readiness for the longer ride to Bethlehem the following week.

Sincere apologies, I was in no fit state to drive to Brackla this morning and riding a bike would have been hilarious!!
