Chaser Club run Sunday 25th November
« on: November 23, 2018, 12:06:10 PM »
As noted in Pacers thread, NE wind but looks cloudy and dry.

Will head out in same direction as Pacers, maybe head for Coffeeco at the White water centre.

I'll post route tomorrow

14 Chasers out this morning, on a chilly grey morning but at least it was dry.
Out today were:-
Hannah
Richard B
Richard L
Nick R
Chris G
TS Steve
Roy
Mark P
Dan
Neil
Terry
Tony
Karl
and me.

After a nice 'warm-up' on Heol Lan we worked as a group into the wind over the common to Llanharn, Brynsadler and on to the climb up Watery Lane, where Steve took the 'prime'.
On through Hensol forest to P.S.E., Radyr and coffee at Tongwynlais, briefly spotting Steven M leading the Pacers in the opposite direction.
Post coffee was the drag up to Pentyrch and a wind assisted return via Pontyclun, Llanharry, Langan and Treoes.
A few lumps and the headwind early on kept down the average pace but an enjoyable winter club run

Thanks Andy - interesting and enjoyable route. We even managed a fairly neat-and-tidy transportation of 14 riders through the lanes, although some: ignorant/more important/on-emergency motorists would beg to differ...and did!
