Out today were
Dave W
Mark R
Nigel
Paul
Gregg
Reece
Steven
Chappers
Haydn
We set off into a strong Easterly to tackle the Bedlinog Climb. Steady pace into the wind through Llanharan and on to Castell Mynach. Our first warm up climb was Star Lane up to Pentyrch, Steven said he would go sraight on and wait for us by roundabout by Tongwynlais but no sign of him when we got there, so pushed on thinking that he had gone ahead to tackle the Castle Coch Climb. Chappers also turned back as he was under orders from the Boss to get back early. Onwards into the wind where we finally reached Bedlinog, its been a few years since I have done this and forgot about the five minutes of leg sapping twenty percent :'( We regrouped at the top then on to Merthyr for Coffee and Custard Tarts. At last the wind was in our favour and full gas to Llantrisant, making such good time another Coffee stop was called for in Costas.
Great ride today with everybody doing a bit!
Big Kudos to Gregg for being there at the end of the ride :)
