Pacers 28th October
« on: October 25, 2018, 06:01:24 PM »
Cold with a NE wind Sunday, going to stick to the old faithful Aberdare loop clockwise. Should have a tailwind home when we reach Llantrisant  ;D This is good  route for anybody thinking stepping up and if there is enough of us we will practise the through and off

After the commotion of us leaving Physique and not knowing who was with what group 12 of us doing the Aberdare circuit, which consisted of:
Terry
Mark Rosser
Chappers
Nigel
Mark J
Paul Rosser
Mark Bryant
Reece
Steven
Greg
Micheal Learoyd
Myself
We tried through and off when we reached Port Talbot which took a while to get going, it went ok but we have done alot better. Through Neath, then strong a headwind from Aberdulais to Glynneath so tried two lines again but with 1 minute efforts on the front. We soon dropped this down to 30 seconds because of the strong headwind(it didnt work that well either :)). Up Glynneath bank with Mark R, Chappers, Mark B and Paul R climbing well then the usual smashfest to get to Bradleys for coffee. It all went abit Pete Tong after that, Steven dropped off as we reached Mountain Ash so I went back to pull him back with the others carrying on. I was chasing bike infront of me, thinking it was the group but they turned for Abercynnon as we dicsussed. Somehow  half of us got back together in Pontypridd and the rest in LLantrisant for the welcome tailwind home
