Hope so!

Bike prepped for Summer, so no mudguards but only bringing 'winter' legs!

Still suffering from Sunday  :-[

12/13 out tonight.  A combination of mild weather, no wind and dry roads meant it felt more like a summer chaingang.  Not sure what happened in the last 2 laps as I had broken two spokes by then...

None of our slower chaingang riders turned up tonight,  try to get back in the habit - remember chaingang is guaranteed to make you go faster!

Cheers Steven, i'll take that as a compliment  :)

First chaingang for at least  3 months and I felt that pace. Hung on until what I thought was last lap only for everyone to keep on going (sue I heard a call of a lap and half to go,  a lap and a half before I finished).

Crawled home

I would take shorter turns in the first few laps so you have more at the end. I'm no expert mind.
Confusion reigned at the end...

Mixed experience. First felt unsafe (so many of us on partly unlight roads and poor surfaces. Then when got used to it and the temporary course it got a bit boring. Then almost fun as legs got tired towards the end and mark +1 introduced some cat and mouse games. Sorry to dash off after but I have to be home in time for Ruth to make her class at 830 up the road... Every minute before 830 I can get back results in disproportionately less grumpiness. Steven you need some wd40 (in addition to the new spokes) and Mark E you in by far the best form I've seen you in...my prediction for most improved rider next season!

Means nothing though does it!?!:Shorter and more laps plus going in the wrong direction meant having to approach rbts with more caution...not that I am suggesting we should be taking the one-way section in the other direction.   :o

I found it all very confusing and particulary so at the roundabouts and having to move the whole group over. Some went some didn't I seemed to end up on my own a few times and rode through the drain at the top EVERY time. I wasn't sure if it was a winter or summer chain gang or both. Also got told off for surging and my bottle fell off and got mashed up so I had no drink. Not sure how the group split either although there were a lot of riders.
Whinge over now.
Bring back the old course.

I witnessed other riders going out of their way to smash your bottle up Chris. It was carnage out there. The new course seems to have brought the worst out of us all.

Just being silly of course...but the course urghhh. Bring back left turns, I can't turn right and very few of us can count to more than 8!

Counting not an issue,

Must learn to keep up!  :(

Thats an outrage Rob. AND the top was missing when i went back to look.
I think my bladed spokes mashed it up to be fair.
Definately need the left turns back for summer and a new road surface.
