Having glanced at the Tour a couple of times all the trumps have % gradients. What sort of gradients are our local trumps.?

What do you want to know Ron? FlammeRouge has a few local climbs, here's the Rhigos from Tower Pit:

The map is here, https://www.la-flamme-rouge.eu/maps/tracks/maps/2 put somewhere local into the search bar on the map and click on the 'category' number at the top of the climb. The site author is Italian so 'Vedi' is the link to get more info and the profile. Then make an account and create some of your own.

But there're often not fine enough to pick up the more extreme grades, eg Caerphilly Mt link goes well beyond 20% for a few short sections but shows 11.9% for the whole last 700m on there. If you use a Garmin there will be a grade % display you can turn on to see all the little pitches.

Lots of funny names on FlammeRouge too like the Bwlch is Côte d'Abergwynfi.  ;D
