March??That's part of the discussion!
I fear the Wasp review is going to be a bit of a side show

But do please have a thought beforehand on future directions for the Wasp RR, which went well on Sunday but will make a financial loss of ~£300 and where we had a few 'near-miss' incidents due to volume of traffic. With the help of Welsh Cycling, the options seems to be coming together under the broad headings of:
1. Similar event to now, but at a different time of year to try to minimise traffic - find ways to make the event a 'loss leader' for the greater club benefit (and/or substantial sponsorship) considering how many people were out watching the race last weekend. What time of year would that be, considering other club commitments and event clashes in the spring and that the cyclocross season will already be underway as soon as the schools go back?
2. Run a smaller-scale, cheaper event somewhere else quieter. Options in south-central Wales are
very limited, hopefully I'll have made some progress on Vale of Neath options with WCU before 10/08/2018. More options are available in Carmarthenshire or Powys but associated loss of public exposure.
3. Give it up as no longer sensibly viable, as almost every other club has done over the last decade.
