So, now that we know the route and that G and Froomey are riding, anyone got any ideas on where they want to watch it and a route out there?

How about Belmont Hill in Caerleon. It's the last KoM just a few miles from the finish? It's about 500 metres long and rises to about 16%, so the riders will be going slow enough to make good spectating. There are some good coffee stops nearby too.

im happy to go with the majority, problem with Belmont hill is the ETA is around 3-3:30 which makes it a long day by the time we get back. If we do Defynnog the ETA is around 1pm. this gives us plenty of time to get there and not to late coming back. Like i said though im happy to go anywhere.

Anyone else got any suggestions?

Im also thinking about watching stage 3 in Bristol, thinking about leaving the car in Chepstow and cycling over the bridge and into Bristol for the start and finish if anyone is interested.

I was thinking Defynnog too. That comes at the top of a climb as well? We could then go Ystradgynlais - Neath home?

How about this for Sunday, Normal 9am start. Please wear club kit to maximise chances of getting on tv. Be great if someone has a Welsh flag  :)

Let me know what you think.

Do we need to arrange a splinter group of chasers to leave at 8:30 or is this a 'nobody will be dropped on the way out at least' kinda ride? 😉
