I certainly hope the weather is ok for a ride tomorrow as I'm going stir crazy with packing!Forecast is viable at the moment so I will be at B&Q at 9.45 unless that changes(in which case I will post again). Not sure who else may be around??
Certainly hope to be out again later in the week-Thursday/Friday? Anyone else planning to get out?

Having spent fruitless hours over the past 2 days trying to get my Man City ticket by phone or online I am giving up and will be riding into the Cardiff City Stadium tomorrow morning.I am pushed for time so will ride straight in and back but will have a coffee stop(Fairwater?)if anyone fancies coming too.Ideally I'd leave a bit earlier than 9.45 but can be flexible if anyone else is about.

I see Mid Week now covers every day except Sunday then Ron? I will probably be out but not sure when or where.
Mike and I had what he aptly describes as an adventure today. We rpde to Cardiff City via Peterston and St Fagans. As we rounded the corner to the Ticket Office Mike said'Look at the queue.' I thought it was 20 yards or so then realised most of it was out of sight. The steward told us we had to be prepared for a 3 hour wait.We weren't.It is on BBC(apparently it's not just me who can't buy online-it's everyone.)
Next Mal had told us Aldi had 100 lumen bike lights(rechargeable)reduced to £4.99.The Aldi in Ely doesn't.
We decided to ride up Grand Avenue to St Fagans then Mike had a brainwave and we turned at the top of Ely for The Drope-a lane neither of us had ridden before but one for future Club Runs.
With my panniers on into a gale I went slower and slower-Mike refused to go on-I think he was enjoying watching me suffer.
We decided to try and salvage something from the day by trying Aldi Bridgend-Eureka-we stocked up on front and rear lights-there are still a few there if you hurry.

That ride would have been too much for me at moment I nearly went out with carrie but aired on the side of caution and I’ll probably wait till Tuesday . Glad you managed to get some lights I think my back light was good value for £8.99 so you and Mike had a bargain

Didn’t know you were a Rugby fan Tom. The midweek or midwk as it’s known, used to be called the Tuesday ride, it just seems to have expanded some, trying to drum up some interest, Sunday does not look promising at all even for Rugby.

Interestingly I had the lane to Drope on a proposed route for Sunday, before looking at the weather forecast.
One for later in the season maybe.....

Glad you're on the mend Patrick but this is last week's thread-message received nevertheless. Andy I knew you'd be one step ahead of the rest of us!
