Very cold NE wind this morning and the thought of a headwind to Newport made us reassess the route which was to be tandem friendly.
The tandem with Dave and keith, Greg, Nigel, John, Jason J and myself headed into the wind to St.fagans. John and Jason turned off before Llanharan so we did short turns into the wind and any inclines we would unleash the tandem which was flying, even had a job to catch it uphill! We then went up A48 at Culverhouse cross to avoid muddy the lanes for the tandem and headed to the Aubury Arms where we turned left for Aberthaw. Passed the chasers going the other way, looked like they had just climbed Galiber, not many happy faces there ;) We were then all treated to coffee and teacake bought by MrBrett
thanks for a good ride!
