Those cyclists who use the underpass to avoid the main rail crossing in Pencoed may have noticed a bit of engineering action on the north side of the railway line. It seems that the workers are building a cycle path, which goes around the playing fields toward Hendre. They intend to use a new type of topcoat which will require no lighting to be used and is the first time this type of topcoat has been used. The path will be nice for younger cyclists to use in the future. Anyone have any more info?
