I'd plan another 'sojourn' to Bethlehem but how about meeting somewhere like Margam, as a starting point and cut the mileage down a bit.

100 hilly miles in December can be too much of a challenge!!   :-[

Great club run today. Perfect Winter conditions - cool but sunny, no wind, no ice, and a pace that was enough to keep warm, (but not silly). Ages since I'd been to Seven Sisters, and I'd forgotten what a nice climb it was, and what great scenery there is. The views across the Beacons once we were above Onllwyn were breathtaking - but no time to stop for photos sadly.

Harpo, Reece, Paul R, Nigel, Mark R, Steve C, John and I formed the peleton, and we made good time in fairly tidy formation across the industrial flatlands of Neath-Port Talbot. We were joined by Neil Bartlett as we hit the road towards Crynant and Seven Sisters. Climb was taken steady to keep the group together, and then it was a fast descent to Glynneath. I peeled off to do the Neath Bank and Rhigos at this point, and judging from Strava, the others headed off for a McChicken Sandwich before the back road to Tonna, Cimla and home via Margam.

Great route choice in the end. Llanelli might be a good one for Spring or Summer  8)

Good winter route today, everyone worked well together and no waiting even on the climbs! Well done to Neil who looked at home with the pace! Rumours have it I was last up Cimla hill, regrettably they are true :'(
Good riding everyone :)

My plan to meet with the Chasers in Pyle didn't happen, so continued on route and when waiting at traffic lights in Briton Ferry the Pacers came through and I tagged on. 90 achievements later and feeling the relentless pace I peeled off across towards the fountain and home! I did enjoy the ride and thanks to Harpo to for the encouragement along the way. Cheers!
