Mid-week rides wk of 23/10
« on: October 23, 2017, 02:24:50 PM »
Forecast not very promising tomorrow but if it's not raining I plan to be at B&Q at 9.45.I believe it's half term so not sure who/if anyone will be out.
I can do Thursday(but not Friday)too this week.

I'll decide after my dog walk in the morning but looks unlikely. Looking at today's forecast . I think half term is next week here Tom but this week in other parts of UK

Thanks all-yes I knew ht was next week-must be going mad(der).A bit confusing weather wise-BBC on line saying dry but Bennaz(TV) saying wet wet wet.If it is wet I may go out Weds and Thurs-everyone says Thurs should be ok Richard!

BBC on line is now saying heavy rain all morning for CF31 but sun(what's that?)tomorrow.I guess the prudent thing is to give it a miss today but I hope to get out for an hour or so tomorrow and definitely on Thursday. No doubt it will now stay dry this morning!

I hadn't anticipated anyone else being available tomorrow Ron.I've only got a couple of hours so plan to do my Saturday 2 hr ride-you're welcome to join me-let me know if you do and I'll be at B&Q at 9.45-don't worry if you want to do something longer.I will be out Thurs and have more time then!

Ron and Mike would have been justified in demanding I clean their bikes after the route I took them on this morning! We looked like we'd ridden a cyclo-cross but it's only mud!Short ride but we even had time for a coffee stop at Ewenny.
So long as it doesn't rain I will be out tomorrow-I know Richard is hoping to be out.9.45 at B&Q again?I'm easy on the route but coffee at Costa Cowbridge would suit me as I have a couple of errands to run there.

The mid-weekers surprised me again with their enthusiasm! I anticipated the weather causing a cancellation but no way! Richard Mal and Andrea where raring to go.We set off doing the Tuesday route backwards and met Tracey and (her husband)Jason(?)in Heronston Lane. They came with us round the coast and Tracey came on to Llantwit. We went through St Mary Hill to Cowbridge where Richard and I stopped for coffee at Costa.Goodness knows how many will be out if we ever get a sunny day again?
