25er's
« on: January 26, 2014, 09:40:35 AM »
As from next week a third slightly slower and shorter club run will begin. This will cater for those who are just starting out, recovering from illness or just lacking time to do the longer faster rides. As the title suggests the average length of Club Run will be 25 miles at less than 25 kph. The ride will be done as a group all starting and finishing together. Rides will get progressively more difficult by July, some riders will wish to advance to the Amblers and beyond, others because of circumstance will join the 25er's for an easier ride. I will post the "Route" to be used five days before, this could change because of the weather or standard of rider on the day. 25er rides will start at the same time as Pacers and Amblers from Physiques in the Brackla Triangle shopping centre. All are welcome including those who would like to join the club and have never ridden in a group and wish to take a look at what goes on in a club run. Watch the 25er's page! for details of club run route.

Yes great chance for new and existing members who don't want to do longer distances to get out on a Sunday.

Winter is now over? So we meet for all "Club Runs" at 9 o'clock from now until December, weather is looking summerish on Sunday.

Sian, John and Ron, Llantwit through the lane and back along the main road, about 25 miles, passed John Phillips on the way back, come and join our group next week. Surprised to see the Amblers so late into our ride. Back in the house by 11 time to cook dinner.

Amblers had a Loooong puncture stop after a mile or so(or I could lie and say we were on the 2nd lap!)
