Pacers club run sunday 3rd september
« on: August 29, 2017, 09:30:14 PM »
Jason isn't going to be there on Sunday and has delegated the route planning to me  ::)

how about this trip to mumbles with a couple of sharp climbs thrown in coming in at 78.5miles

plenty of coffee options after climbing out of caswell bay either castellamare,  verdis or hold on until coffee fresco at the marina.

It's looking a bit damp on Sunday! Fingers crossed for a weather change. We can stick to the original route or
How about going towards port talbot cimla mumbles and back?

This morning was a struggle to get out the door has it was looking pretty black with the prospect of it becoming heavy rain.

Riders out today were
Steven M showing us all he's not a fair weather rider
Dylan
Mark R
Richard B
Hannah who did really well riding in a group.
Guest appearance from Andy H who was going to ride with the chasers but only 1 showed up.he then rode home while we all rode to cafe fresco at Swansea Marina.
The rain wasn't too bad but the return leg into wind wasn't much fun.
All character building and the mud guards on my bike were great today

..it was a better option than the original plan which was to ride the Welsh 100 mile TT !  Agree with Dave; great ride by Hannah at 16 years old.

Don't you just love a good excuse for not turning up, but alas all the Pacers  today are not completely innocent? But forgiven.

Tough ride in the conditions today. Very grateful to Dave coming out with mud guards today as I spent most of the ride on his wheel. Thanks all.

Glad you got out, it was me and Mark Pope that shouted to you on the A48, we were doing the 5 valley sportive, very wet and windy today.
