Mid -Week rides wk of 26/6
« on: June 26, 2017, 11:57:02 AM »
Forecast presently ok for tomorrow, if so I'll be at B&Q at 9.45 as usual. I know Paul has a day off not sure who else may be out?
Hopefully also get out later in the week.

I had problems on the iron mt sportive on Saturday my chain kept slipping off the lowest gears this had happened since Neil at forza put a new semi compact on last week so it's probably only a bit of adjustment but I'll go straight to llantwit so will meet you in cafe

Not so sunny today but another excellent turn-out-9 at our peak! Paul,Steve,Mike,Lee and I met up at B&Q linking up with Carrie and Nick at Graig Penlline. A thankfully uneventful ride to Llantwit where we met up with Mal and Carrie We.avoided any rain and tentative plans were laid for a ride on Friday-more to follow!

Weather looking good Tom and my legs should be fresh as I'm going to give the club 10 a miss this evening. There is a lengthy section of loose chippings from resurfacing work between Wick and the St Donats cross roads.

Excellent Richard-I've been waiting to hear from others,Mark is working,Mike not sure but Carrie will be out.To avoid confusion and give others a bit of notice shall we meet at 9.45 at B&Q as usual but do something slightly different?I ll check with Carrie how that works for her.Hopefully be 1 or 2 others out?

Richard ,Carrie,Chris Ron and I at B&Q this morning.Ron peeled off after approx. 150 yards to go and practice on his TT bike.Chris had to go to work so peeled off at St Fagans(and I see made it to Margam in about an hour -nice ride Chris!).Richard Carrie and I carried on into the Bay and over the Barrage,up to Duffryn for coffee and A48home.Not as sunny as we'd like but it didn't rain so no complaints!
