Another great turn-out for a Club "10". Hot waether helped, but the strong
easterly wind didn't. Many good performances, especially from Peter Kibble
(Italy's loss was our gain!). Notable improvements came from Tony Mansell,
and the tandem pairing of Dave Walters and Keith Barrett.- Well done!
The hard luck award goes to Richard Bowmer whose starting effort was good
enough to snap his chain. our sincere thanks to Mr. Kibble who took Richard
back home.
Next week is the 2-up Team Time Trial. where one rider must be a veteran i.e.
over 40 years of age. Other riders may ride for individual times, but they will
not count towards the Mid-Week trophy or the Points Cup.
Next week will be cooler, so look forward to a host of good rides!
