10 out this morning, under blue skies and a brisk easterly wind. Pace was also 'brisk' for the first ten miles or so, culminating in a 45kph blast past Margam. Not much of a social, group ride going on, in a paceline with some (me) desperately trying to hold on!!
Things did settle down after this and we had a solid ride up the Vale of Neath and the mini Rhigos and a quick blast into Aberdare for coffee stop at Baguette express, courtesy of Haydn!
Chose the wrong side of the valley to ride down to Pontypridd (in the shade) returning via Church Village and Llantrisant. Pace increased causing the group to split and everybody making their own way back to Brackla, I hope.................!
