Chaser's Club Run - Sunday 27 November

At the moment it's forecast to be overcast but dry on Sunday with a fresh Easterly breeze and around 8 degrees, so not too bad for this time of the year. My proposed route is just under 50 miles but has a few cheeky little climbs along the way as follows:

Brackla - Coity - Bryncethin - Brynmenyn - Llangeinor - Blackmill - Glynogwr - Gilfach Goch - Talbot Green via Smilog - Miskin - Hensol - Pendoylan - Gwern-y-Steeple - Sycamore Cross - Bonvilston - Old Post House - Green Dragon Lane - Aberthaw - St Athan - Egwlys Brewis - Boverton - Llantwit Major - Wick via main road - St Brides - Death Valley - Bridgend - Brackla

It's 49 miles with a late coffee stop planned at Café Velo after around 38 miles. There are five short but sapping climbs on route at Llangeinor, Glynogwr, Gilfach Goch, Smilog and Gwern-y-Steeple. Should be fun!   I have attached a link below.

A short if lumpy ride today taking in Llangeinor, Glynogwr, Gilfach Goch, Smilog and Gwern-y-Steeple and on to Llantwit Major for coffee and cake, before heading home via Wick and Ewenny. Although it was only around 48 miles the climbing was front loaded, so there were a few rubbery legs well before halfway. There were nine Chasers out today including a couple of 'resting' Pacers, as follows:
