Yeah another great mild evening with some very smooth turns. Felt a little bit more 'tasty' than usual but that may just have been me suffering. Still enjoyed it though.

Anyone know what happened to Rob Jones? Who said something to upset him?!  :P

I got there early and did a few pre laps...felt I had done my time. Lovely evening to be out on the bike again. No wind and fresh but not cold. More weather like this and my turbo will be surplus to requirements.

So now we have 3 groups of varying abilities. For those of you who are not there on a Tuesday, move away from the TV and get out on the bike !

Yeah these really are turning into a good winter training/riding session!

We need to work on our 'dispersing' though, almost had a mass pile up at the end!!  ;D

Did Anyone happen to pick up an SIS water bottle on the Waterton roundabout before or after CG last night?
I lost it on way home from work and didn;'t fancy going back to try and retrieve it in the dark and rush hour traffic
Probably sqaushed under a lorry somehwere

Good advice. This is the first year I have done anything more than basic commutes in the dark. It seems daunting heading out for a ride/ training in the dark but given a decent light (available for <£100) you can go anywhere you like and after about 1830 the traffic is fairly light too. Plus the entire chaingang circuit has street lights too. You can save your light battery whilst letting others shelter you from any wind, for the most part. Recommended.
