Carl Roach 25m TT - Results
« on: April 25, 2016, 10:47:39 AM »
Once again, there are not enough 'thank yous' to thank everyone for their help at the Carl Roach event today.

So here is a big one instead

THANK YOU

The team work in the Ogmore Valley Wheelers is second to none.  We always put on a good event, and this year was no exception.

Provisional result attached

I have checked and rechecked the times - so 'proper' results now attached.

Only change is to the Front cover.  All the times appear to be correct first time of being published  :)

Some really positive comments from riders.
Taken from riders who have emailed me personally and from the CTT site.
Certainly gives me a sense of satisfaction to know the event went well from a rider's perspective and that the OVW can pull together to give them an excellent experience

Thanks for organising the time trial at the weekend. It was a really friendly and well run event with great marshalling.

I just wanted to say that I always come away from an OVW event thinking what a lovely bunch of people you all are - and how well run everything is.

Thank you for another great event! A real credit to the club. :)

Thanks for putting on a great event yesterday. I improved my pb so was especially pleased.

Thanks for organising a great event yesterday, and thanks for the sunshine!

Thanks for your efforts yesterday, I love going down to that course.

Thanks Teresa and the club for running a faultless event. Now that's the way to do it.

A very big thanks to Ogmore Valley Wheelers and the Timekeepers for a super event today.

Well organised, well marshalled, excellent signage and last but by no means least the super cwtches back at HQ from the Ogmore Valley lady who defrosted me. I am very, very grateful, and finally warm! A heartfelt Thanks.

Did I mention it was cold? It was cold. I want the 3kgs back that I lost over winter *heads to cake shop*!

The compliments keep coming - and 'no' I am not making them up

Thank you very much for everything.  The event was brilliant! One of the most organised iv done so far.

Many thanks for organising such a well-run TT at the weekend. It is much appreciated.

Thank you and all your helpers for a really well run event.

Thanks for organising Teresa. It was a great day out on the bike, and good fun marshalling the course afterwards.

We all know what some of your personal issues are but to add to those the stress of this organisation is a duty beyond call.

I have said for many years you are a hero. Can there be such a thing as a double hero ? If so, then you are it !

The congratulations you have received  are well deserved and should go a little way to compensate for the aggro !

Well done !

What is happening about the incident involving Luke Dix, it seems he was hit while racing by another rider warming up, riders are not allowed to pass the starter. Luke has sustained bruising and one of his wheels is wrecked. For future events do we need a sign or a marshal to inform and stop riders warming up on the race line?

Very kind words, Tim
Good job I like making lists
Couldn't have done it without the support of the other Oggies

Please could I clarify that my 'issues' are health related (wonky heart and wonky leg) - Before you make up your own versions  ;)
