A few hardy riders turned up but the wind was too strong, after a long 10 second discussion we all went our own way. We need to have some system where someone can cancel all rides because of bad weather, driving in from Barry or similar distances just to go home again is a little silly.

I was walking my dog at 7 this morning and guessed it would be off. He was getting blown around like Toto, poor dab!

I am on leave for the week from Tuesday on so if you go for a mid week run will you post on here first?

Tuesday or "Mid Week" rides are always posted and leave from the same place same time and usually use the same route. Check out previous posts for details.

Very helpful post that one ron b, why not just say the mid week gang usually go out on a Tuesday & Friday Stream, however like all rides its weather dependant!

They meet up at the B&Q roundabout, times etc posted through the week by Tom mostly.

Not one to be too padantic, but the Mid Week is always a Tuesday, some times Wednesday, Thursday or even Friday. Tuesday is always the same route which is about 38 miles. Riders go out on other days but sometimes use other routes. Tom likes to meet at a certain lamp post on the round about opposite the new Starbucks, any rider not within a crank length of the lamp post will be chastised. Any Oggy can post a ride on this forum, putting it under the "mid Week" tag saves over filling our site. Rides are always subject to weather conditions especially during these three months. Checking back over previous blogs of Mid week rides will give a "newbie" some idea of what goes on. Plus we could do with some new routes from new riders. Some nice person will post the Mid Week map on the site if it's not already there.
