This is the event you have all waited all year for.
A chance to recycle your unwanted cycle bits and buy the stuff you really want at (hopefully) bargain prices. It is also a chance for the Club to make a 10% commission to add to club funds !
If you have stuff to sell which is bike related, including books, CD's, clothing (where are those red shorts ?), wheels, whole bikes, children's bikes, new stuff that you have never fitted, unwanted presents, photos and prints, posters etc. bring them along at 7.00 pm and list them for Auctioneer and club captain Andy Harris to put to the floor in an attempt to get some competitive bidding going.
Fix a reserve if you want
Give him a description of your items
Hope !
If you think you may want to purchase, viewing will start at 7.30pm and the Auction will start at 8.00pm
You will need a bidders card
Remember, once the auctioneers gavel has fallen you are committed to buy and the vendor is committed to sell.
It's exciting and pretty fast !

Get digging in the garage now and polish up your bits !
See you on the 23rd

Tim

I have decided to put my stabilisers into this auction.
It seems to me that there is now a market for them !
It was 3 years ago that they were kindly presented to me at the Annual Dinner when I was on crutches and I think there are some deserving cases out there. Proceeds of the sale will go to club funds

I assume that everyone has now sorted out the stuff they want to sell on Friday, polished it and decided what reserve they want to put on it.

If you get the chance to tell anyone about the event, please do so. Not everyone reads this message board and the more sellers and buyers we have there the more fun we have.

Andy has his gavel ready and Jason has his auction programme ready to record the bids. I have my bidding cards and entry sheets ready to be filled in when you arrive with your stuff.

Roll on Friday

If you are relatively new to the club and building up your kit and equipment, this is a great opportunity to buy stuff at knock down prices!
